Dr. Elle Harun

 

Dr. Elle Harun (Afdallyna) is an academic in HCI/UX domain but her first love is tinkering with creative endeavours.

In her work, she believes the sense of presence is important. This is weaved through participatory design in her technological research of which she has over 10 years experience. Now she is envisioning the concept through artistic element utilizing images and text.

Dr. Hanif Baharin

Dr. Hanif Baharin

 

Dr. Hanif Baharin’s research focuses on the design of physical computing and in the intersection of technology and art. He has designed and developed physical computing game to train schoolchildren in empathy, phatic communication technologies, and has applied physical computing as art installations. He has exhibited his artworks in the Art Program for ACM 4th International Conference on Computer Graphics and Interactive Techniques in Australasia, Critical AnimalsThis is Not Art Festival Australia, Nature’s Yields and Wonders of Art (NYAWA) exhibitions at Gallery Serdang, UPM, INTERACT (Mumbai 2017), and ACM CHI (Glasgow 2019).

Dr Hanif Baharin has a PhD in Interaction Design from the University of Queensland, Australia. He is a research fellow at the Institute of IR4.0, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia.

Mohd. Shahrudin

Dr. Mohd Shahrudin Abd Manan

 

Dr. Mohd Shahrudin Abd Manan has a special interest in understanding design within two discursive aspects: as a social reality and developmental strategy. He explores design within the polemics of critical theory concerning semiology, psychoanalysis, metamodernism, cybernetics and post-humanism. Like a building, he believes that language itself is a form of constructive structure.

En. Nasir Baharuddin
basically studied fine art and was formerly a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Design and Architecture, Universiti Putra Malaysia.  His interest of study focusing on developing artistic collaborative programs in art science. Nasir specialises in developing concepts of visual epistemology through textual language as an image of convergence communication.

Dr.Puteri

Dr Puteri Nor Ellyza Nohuddin

Dr Puteri Nor Ellyza Nohuddin received her BSc. in Computer Science from University of Missouri-Columbia, USA and her MSc IT from Universiti Teknologi MARA. In 2012, she was awarded her Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Liverpool, UK. Puteri joins Institute of IR4.0 (IIR4.0), formerly known as Institute of Visual Informatics, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia as a Research Fellow in July 2015. Prior to coming to IIR4.0, she was lecturer at the Universiti Pertahanan Nasional Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur. Prior to her academic career, she worked with several conglomerates such as ExxonMobil, Sime Darby, Shell IT and Malaysian Resources Corporation Berhad as System Analyst. Her primary research interests are in the field of Big Data, Data Mining and Knowledge Engineering. Specifically, she is interested in Time Series Clustering, Trend mining, Tacit Knowledge, and Social Network Analysis. View Articles

Muhammad Hafiz Mastro

Muhammad Hafiz Mastro currently works as a Senior Embedded/Firmware Engineer. His work experience includes electronics engineering, hardware, and technical requirements, firmware specifications, electronics schematic, and system design. He has a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. Previously, as a freelancer engineer, Hafiz has design and developed PCBs and IoT systems used in interactive arts using Arduino, Raspberry Pi, PIC Microcontroller and Phyton.
